Write a short brief

State the outcome, the constraints, the people involved, and how you will know the work is ready. Link the documents that explain the request. Separate decisions already made from questions that still need an answer.

Keep a folder for the project and tags for material shared across projects. A note can be linked from several indexes without becoming several competing copies.

Record decisions as they happen

Create dated meeting notes and link them from the brief. Add scans, sketches, and voice notes when they carry information text would miss. Keep an action item with the note that explains it.

Search downloaded notes and attachment text to find an old reference. A saved search for unfinished tasks can help you review your own commitments.

Finish with an archive

Export a readable handoff as PDF or HTML, and a separate full notebook copy with attachments. Review private working notes before sending anything to another person.

Memobound is as a personal document app. Live coediting, team permissions, assigned task boards, and a browser workspace are outside the beta. If those are central to the project, keep a shared workspace alongside your personal notebook.
