Leave a meeting with a useful record

Keep the agenda, decisions, and next steps together. A Memobound meeting notebook works even when the room’s Wi-Fi does not.

Before the meeting

Create a note from your meeting template. Add the date, attendees, purpose, and questions to resolve. Attach the documents already shared with you. Download any iCloud material you will need in the room.

Link the note to a project index so you can find the last discussion without searching a long chronological list. If you use calendar access, bring across the event title and time rather than retyping them.

During the discussion

Write decisions in their own section. Put a name and a due date beside each action item. A short explanation of why a decision was made is often more useful than a transcript of every sentence.

Add a whiteboard scan or an audio recording when everyone has agreed to it. Supported on-device transcription can help you revisit the recording, but check important details against the original audio.

After the meeting

Review the action list, set your own local reminders, and export a PDF or text summary through the share sheet. A shared file is a copy. It does not assign tasks in someone else’s app or become a live collaborative document.

Keep the original note with its attachments. At the next meeting, link to it and record what changed. This creates a decision history without requiring a team account.

Download a meeting template, explore audio notes, and see local reminders.
