Help with a long note, when you want it

Memobound’s assistance can suggest a title, summarize selected text, or draft a checklist from a note. These are optional tools for supported devices, not a requirement for writing or finding your files.

Keep the source visible

A summary sits beside the original note for review. It does not replace the original text or silently change an imported document. Accept, edit, or discard the suggestion.

Generated text can omit details or get facts wrong. Check names, numbers, decisions, and quotations against the source. A suggested action list is a draft for your judgment, not a record of what everyone agreed to do.

Use an available local model

The app uses a model running on the device when the operating system and hardware support it. Model or language downloads may need a connection. Availability depends on the device, language, region, and system settings.

When that model is unavailable, the app keeps ordinary editing, keyword search, templates, and recording available. It does not send your note to a remote AI provider as a fallback.

Start with useful structure

Headings, a short summary you write yourself, and a few tags already make a long notebook easier to use. These tools work on all devices the core app supports and do not depend on generative features.
