Write and draw in the same notebook
Some ideas are easier to draw. Memobound’s handwriting tools let you add a sketch, diagram, or handwritten page beside your text and attachments.
Draw with Apple Pencil or a finger
Use Apple Pencil on a compatible iPad, or draw with a finger on iPhone and iPad. Use pen and highlighter tools, an eraser, colors, and selection for moving strokes. Ruled and grid backgrounds help with lecture notes and rough layouts.
Typed notes and drawing pages remain part of the same notebook. You can add a caption, tags, and a link to a related note without maintaining a separate handwriting library.
Keep an editable original and a readable copy
The format keeps editable stroke data with the note and a rendered image for viewing outside Memobound. PDF export puts handwriting and typed content into a shareable document. A rendered image or PDF does not retain every editable stroke.
Text recognition can help find legible handwriting in supported languages. It is not guaranteed to interpret every script, formula, or diagram. Add a typed title for important material.
Make room for study
On iPad, keep source material and your notebook side by side using the system’s window controls. A keyboard can handle longer explanations while Pencil handles diagrams. Use Memobound on iPhone and iPad.
