Keep the details that a household collects
A receipt, a paint color, an appliance model, a repair you want to remember. Memobound keeps these small records with enough context to find them later.
Make a note for the thing
Create a note for an appliance, a room, or a home project. Add the model number, purchase date, measurements, and a photo. Attach a downloaded manual and a scan of the receipt.
Type key numbers as well as keeping the scan. Text recognition can help with finding a document, but it can misread small print or faded receipts.
Keep a history of the work
Add dated entries for maintenance and repairs. Put the next job in a checklist and set a local reminder when useful. A folder per room or project is usually enough; tags can bring together warranties or unfinished jobs.
For recipes, keep your own adjustments beside the original source link. A saved article or PDF can be read offline after it downloads. The recipe notebook remains useful without an online recipe account.
Send a copy when needed
Share a manual, a measurement note, or a project PDF through the share sheet. A contractor or family member can read the export without installing Memobound. Sharing the file does not keep everyone’s edits synchronized.
Back up the notebook separately from iCloud sync. A household archive is only useful if you can restore it when the device is replaced.
