Save useful reading from Safari through the share sheet. Memobound keeps a local copy of supported article content, with the source URL and capture date beside it.
Choose what to keep
The share extension offers an article copy, selected text, a link, or a PDF supplied by the browser. Review the title and choose a notebook and tags before saving. Add your own comment so the clip has a purpose when you return to it.
An article copy aims to preserve readable text and relevant images. It does not reproduce every menu, animation, comment, or interactive element from a website.
Save while you have a connection
Retrieving a page and its images requires internet access. Once the content is saved and downloaded, you can read that copy offline. A bookmark alone still needs the original website.
Pages behind a sign-in or paywall may not be available to the clipper. Use the browser’s own PDF or selection tools when you have access. Memobound does not bypass access controls or make a promise to capture every website.
Keep sources useful
Search the saved text, connect it to a project note, and add a summary in your own words. The original link stays available for checking updates. A captured article is a snapshot, so it may differ from a later version of the page.
No email-forwarding address or server-based inbox is needed for this workflow. Use the share sheet for material from other apps that support sharing.
