Bring your Evernote notes with you

Memobound’s importer reads Evernote ENEX files on your iPhone or iPad. The import runs on the device and writes documents into the notebook location you choose.

Export a notebook first

Use Evernote for Mac or Windows to export each notebook as ENEX. Include the available metadata and keep a separate copy of the original exports. Use one named export per notebook so its destination is clear.

See what the importer can preserve

The conversion preserves supported text formatting, titles, tags, created and modified dates, source URLs, and original attachments. Nested notebook structure is assigned from your export organization, not assumed to be present in every ENEX file.

Unsupported formatting, encrypted content, tasks, reminders, and links that cannot be resolved appear in an import report. The importer does not claim perfect Evernote round-tripping. It keeps original attachments rather than replacing them with recognition results.

Verify before switching

Start with a small notebook containing text, tables, scans, and attachments. Compare note counts and inspect representative notes. Check internal links and dates. Large imports need enough free space for the source, new documents, and a search index.

An interrupted import keeps its progress visible so you can resume or review it without silently duplicating a notebook. Keep using your source archive until you have checked a backup and an export from the new app.
